APHA’s Weekly Broadcast Highlights the Paint Horse World

The American Paint Horse Association (APHA) recently debuted a new weekly news broadcast from its headquarters in Fort Worth. Hosted by APHA Executive Director Billy Smith and highlighting the week’s association news, the program is titled “Fresh Paint.”

The American Paint Horse Association (APHA) recently debuted a new weekly news broadcast from its headquarters in Fort Worth.

Videotaped in Smith’s office, the broadcast gives APHA members and Paint enthusiasts around the world an opportunity to “meet” the new Executive Director and see his enthusiasm for the association, its members and the breed.

Topics from the first three episodes to date include the upcoming Youth World Games at the AjPHA World Championship Show, news about the association’s annual June Workshop, Paints who did well at the recent National Reining Breeders Classic, the results of the recent APHA/Trail of the Painted Ponies joint art competition and the announcement of JW Brooks Custom Hats as a new APHA sponsor.

"There is a lot of good, positive news going on in the Paint world and at APHA,” said Smith. “This weekly broadcast is just one of the ways we are trying to deliver that news to our members and fans.”
