Tomorrow, December 13, 2014, is National Horse Day. Throughout history, horses have served as heroic partners and they continue to play important roles in society today. This December 13th on National Horse Day we would like to take time to reflect on how horses enrich our lives and the simple things they need in return.

- Freedom from pain, injury and disease
- Freedom to express most patterns of normal behavior (space and social)
- Freedom from fear and distress
