Caballos de las Estrellas and Rancho Hidalgo have partnered to bring you the event of a lifetime integrating riding the beautiful "outlaw trails" of the Chiricahua Mountains by day and star gazing with international astronomers by night.

The event launches the new equestrian/ adventure community built around a shared vision for good horse care, sustainable living, continual learning and adventure.  Fostering a new community-based model for development, founders Zhenna Bouray and Gene Turner have a strong desire to bring like-minded people together envisioning community members participating in the development.

“We have such a lovely animal-oriented community here, that we wanted to share it with others.  Our residents enjoy a wide variety of equestrian activities and breeds as well as nature, art, astronomy, archeology, geology, hiking, travel, clinics, educational lectures and ranching/farming. We have something very special here”, says Zhenna.

With hay prices soaring, the community provides a lifetime supply of hay to member horses and offers a variety of lease and purchase options from the RV park to ranch sales. Travel packages are also available for visitors and residents who enjoy traveling with friends.

The equestrian center is built and the community center/spa is under development as well as other amenities. The community's vineyard is producing wine nearby, while the plentiful water and fertile soil grow food for humans and animals.

On hand for the event will be Michael Bakich, Senior Editor of Astronomy Magazine and the world authority on ISON, the brightest comet ever to be seen in human history. Professional telescopes are provided to view one of the best rated night skies in North America and a number of astronomy experts will be sharing knowledge with viewers.

Other experts/guides will be at the event to discuss the area’s unique geology, natural history, wildlife, birds, ecology, and Native American culture. Guided trail rides and tours offered daily, but reservations are required.  Breakfast and dinner are included in packages for Oct 31- Nov 3, 2013. Music, Halloween party, and numerous activities are all being planned.

Bonus event with horsewomen clinician Laura Christie of Topline Horsemanship Nov 4-6. Laura is a versatile trainer from English to Western disciplines. Equine Behavioral Ecologist Mary Ann Simonds will also be presenting “Essential Equine Behavior Skills" as well as discussing eco-equestrian community development.

All are invited to come celebrate and experience the Adventure West Lifestyles of Caballos de las Estrallas and Rancho Hidalgo/Granite Gap. There really is something for everyone.
