Equine Agility is one of the fastest growing horse sports in the world! It is a non-mounted sport in which horse and human work through a course for a score based on time and proper completion. This year’s Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Youth Seminar will include an Equine Agility clinic and demonstration plus an opportunity for Youth members to compete in the evening Fun Show for $1,000 in cash prizes. The prize money was donated to the Youth Association by Friends of Sound Horses (FOSH).

Training + prizes = Fun

Suzanne De Laurentis, co-founder of Equine Agility says of the prize donation “Being a lifetime member of Friends of Sound Horses I really appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate for the Youth association members how much fun can have with Agility and also how it benefits the horses. FOSH supports what we call sound training which certainly covers the sport of Equine Agility.”
Youth members of the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Youth Association also receive complimentary on-line training videos as well as personal mentoring from Equine Agility.
Wayne Williams, long time host of “Speaking of Horses” will be attending the Youth Seminar in Ava to film for an upcoming multi-segment program on Equine Agility. Speaking of Horses can be seen on Pegasus in Houston, Las Angeles, Bakersfield and Fresno and coming this fall to Sacramento, Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Chicago and New York.
So in addition to the possibility of winning up to $1,000, Youth members could also appear on Speaking of Horses with their Missouri Fox Trotting horses.
