Haygain’s mission is helping horses, and it will be helping some rather famous horses next week during the FEI World Cup™ Finals. The international championship takes place April 4-8 at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
The horses competing here are very appreciative of the Hay Steamers made available to all competitors in the FEI stables.

Full-bale HG 2000 Hay Steamers await the elite equine athletes flying in from all over the world. This ensures that the many horses who relied on Haygain Steamed Hay to get to this international championship can stay on their familiar forage routine throughout their week in Omaha. Whether they’re show jumpers, dressage or vaulting stars, the horses can count on the extra edge Haygain Steamed Hay provides.
“Our horses get Haygain steamed hay wherever they go,” confirms Sean Vard, head groom for FEI Longines World Cup™ Jumping defending champion Martin Fuchs. Martin will be out to defend last year’s title, and “Having Haygain steamers available at the Finals is huge.”
Coming from their base in Switzerland, the packing process is greatly simplified by having Haygains on hand, Sean notes.
Haygain’s mission also involves helping owners help their horses. Toward that end, the global horse health company has various activities lined up during World Cup Finals week.
- Vendor Village Booth #227 – Follow the enticing scent of fresh steamed hay to Haygain’s booth near the Demonstration Arena. See the Hay Steamers and Forage Slow Feed in person and step onto ComfortStall Sealed Orthopedic Flooring.
- Show Special: Visit Haygain’s booth for a special, limited-time discount on all horse health equipment.
- Hay Steaming & Forager Demos: Friday and Saturday at 2-2:40 pm in the Demonstration Arena. Superstar international groom Sean Vard will talk through his steaming routine during Friday’s demo, and Haygain staff will be on hand to answer questions throughout both days’ demos.
- Omaha Equestrian Foundation Fundraiser: One of the “game-used” full-bale HG 2000 Hay Steamers will be auctioned off in the OEF silent auction fundraiser. This steamer retails for $3,100 and is brand new other than one week of use serving some of the world’s top sport horses.
Visit the Omaha Equestrian Foundation booth to bid, or bid online here. Bidding ends Saturday, April 8 at 7 pm Central Time. (*Winner covers shipping costs.)

“The Omaha Equestrian Foundation is thrilled to have Haygain back at the FEI World Cup™ Finals Omaha 2023,” says Omaha Equestrian Foundation CEO Julie Boilesen. “We, and especially the horses competing here, are very appreciative of the Hay Steamers made available to all competitors in the FEI stables. Plus, we will offer one of those “game-used” steamers to the highest bidder in our OEF fundraiser!
“OEF came to know about Haygain’s products because our founder, Lisa Roskens, uses them in her own barn. We have first-hand experience of how helpful they are for our horses’ health and are proud to have Haygain supporting the event this year.”
“Consistently clean hay that’s free of breathable irritants is critical to all horses and it’s a huge difference maker for those competing at the sport’s highest levels,” says Haygain, Ltd. CEO Edzo Wisman. “We’re proud to continue our tradition of supporting these horses and making life a little easier for those caring for them. Providing steamers for the FEI barns is an honor. We’re also thrilled to support the Omaha Equestrian Foundation by donating one of them to their fundraiser.”
