The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Aanimals Nevins-Farm has announced that three of the 19 miniature horse rescued last month from desperate conditions on a small farm in West Boylston have gone to new homes.
Two of the horses, Michelle and Misty, were transferred to the Maine State Society for the Protection of Animals (MSSPA), New England’s largest equine rescue facility.
A third mini, named Angel, went to MSPCA-Nevins Farm supporters Catherine Hackett and her husband Edward Temple of Deerfield, New Hampshire.
The MSPCA-Nevins Farm has secured new homes for all of the remaining 16 horses, who will be placed once they receive a clean bill of health
