Horse Expo Pomona is underway now through Sunday, February 7-9,2014, with over 300 exhibits offering the latest horse related products and services.
At the Breed Revelation attendees will see popular as well as unusual breeds and talk directly to the breeders in a relaxed coffee shop setting. The popular returning attractions Equine Dream Art Show sponsored by BLICKO' Art Materials, Young Rider Park, Trail Symposium, Book Corral and Great American Truck Display will be larger than ever.
In addition, the Expo is breaking new ground in connecting expo clinicians and vendors with attendees, Horse Expo Pomona has launched new features on its website that brings them together -- before, during and after the Horse Expo Feb. 7-9, 2014 at the Fairplex.
More than 1,000 visitors a day are clicking on the “Schedule” and “Our Exhibitors” links atop horseexpoevents.com on their computers, tablets and phones, finding a wealth of schedule, location and profile information. Users also can access presenter and vendor websites, YouTube® videos, and visit their respective Facebook and Twitter pages. Each listing is fully integrated into Facebook with a comment bar that makes it simple to share.
The technology, provided by the Official Horse Expo Pomona Online Marketplace, horsetrader.com, also gives users the chance to create their own “Don’t Miss Lists” that can be easily printed and brought to the show, or shared via email.
“It adds another dimension to the hands-on and three-dimensional marketing experiences for our exhibitors and consumers,” said Horse Expo Events President, Miki Nelsen. “The horsetrader.com team has been brilliant and tireless in bringing in technology that adds enjoyment and convenience to the exhibitor experience.”
Horsetrader.com founder and California Horsetrader magazine publisher Warren Wilson said the features are a simple extension of what his company provides advertisers in the twice-monthly Horsetrader magazine, the largest in California.
“Miki and Horse Expo have always been innovative, and the innovations have always been about the Expo experience – making it work better for the clinicians, the vendors and the attendees,” said Wilson, who expects the website count to exceed 3,000 per day as the show begins this Friday. “I’m thrilled we had the chance to demonstrate what our company can contribute. The response has been terrific.”
Also, attendees will meet top equine clinicians from all different disciplines including reining, dressage (classical and western), three-day event, hunter/jumpers, barrel racing and driving. Experts in trail riding, saddle fitting, body clipping, equine management, horse anatomy and starting a colt will offer invaluable tips.
