Horses Lost in Barn Fire

Location: WEST GROVE, Pennsylvania

At 12:30 am, May 31, 2011, a barn fire of unknown cause destroyed a barn at True Prospect Farm owned by Boyd Martin.

Eleven horses were in the barn at the time. Five horses were evacuated from the barn, but six horses died in the fire.

Four horses are currently being treated for injuries and burns at The University of Pennsylvania-New Bolten Center.

All other horses have been relocated to area barns. Further information on how you can help Boyd Martin and his surviving horses will be released shortly.
