The Network for Horse Sports, will offer fans a hearty feast of outstanding programming, including live Thoroughbred racing action and equestrian premieres, on Thanksgiving -- Thursday, Nov. 27 -- on HRTV (and HRTV.com).

Eventing at the Aachen World Equestrian Festival
HRTV, The Network for Horse Sports, is treating horse enthusiasts to a special Thanksgiving lineup of exciting horse programming with everything from horse racing to the Aachen World Equestrian Festival and the US Polo competition.

Live racing begins early while the 2014 Aachen World Equestrian Festival and the Whitney Cup Polo conclude the busy Thanksgiving holiday offering.
Beginning at 11:05 a.m. ET, HRTV will carry live coverage of special holiday racing cards from Laurel Park, Aqueduct, Gulfstream Park West, Churchill Downs, Del Mar, Fair Grounds, and Golden Gate.
Once the outstanding holiday racing action concludes, a special seven-hour equestrian block (in hour-long segments) will kickoff at 7 p.m. ET and feature renowned international events from Germany's annual Aachen World Equestrian Festival, as well as a top polo competition from the U.S. Polo Association.
Championship English events begin (7 p.m. ET) with the show jumping from the Aachen CHIO 2014 Prize of Munich Grand Prix, and it will be followed by the Aachen Wohnwelt Marathon Driving (8 p.m.), and the Aachen Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup (9 p.m. ET).
The top-flight equestrian action will continue throughout the evening. The Aachen DHL Prize-Eventing and the Aachen Rolex Grand Prix will follow at 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET, respectively. The Aachen block concludes at Midnight ET with the Deutsche Banke Prize -- Dressage.
Following Aachen, HRTV will premiere highlights of the 2014 CV Whitney Polo Championship (1 a.m ET), which took place in Wellington, FL in late February-early March. The tournament, first held in 1979, is named in memory of Cornelius Vanderbilt "Sonny" Whitney, and John Hay Whitney, who were polo patrons of the 1930s.
