How safe is your horse?  Really SAFE?  In his stall?  In the pasture?  At a show?  We all love our horses.  Feed them.  Keep 'em updated and current with health issues.  Make sure they get proper diets.  Shod or trimmed when needed.

Keeping your horse safe from thieves

Keeping your horse safe from thieves

Horse theft is an issue that lurks constantly wherever horses are kept and owners need to be alert to keep their horses safe.

But how SAFE is your horse in the middle of the night?  In the dark?  Even the daylight?  What have you done to make sure your horse is SAFE from theft?

Theft is an issue that lurks constantly around horses.  Even in bad economic times when horses are cheap and free, horses are stolen from pastures.  Stalls.  Walked out of barns.  And at shows, does the person leading that horse through the showgrounds and loading into a trailer really own that horse?  Or is the horse being stolen?

We don't think much about theft until it hits in our area.  We trust those that drive in and out of the barnyard.  Stop to look at horses in a pasture.  But we should be knowledgeable about theft.  How to prevent it.  How to make our horses more theft proof!

Two Horse Enterprises feels theft IS a major problem so for Christmas, what better gift for horseowners and their horses than a copy of "Horse Theft Prevention".  It's a small book loaded with tips on how to prevent, how to mark tack, what precautions to take around a barn, pasture and what to do if your horse is stolen.  And its FREE!!
