Japan Horse Racing Schedule Changes

Location: TOKYO, Japan

Because of the earthquake and tsunami devastation, the Japan Racing Association is working to reschedule races and find venues not affected by the wide-spread devastation and resulting nuclear disaster.

The Association indicates that horse racing in Japan will continue beginning in April. Races originally scheduled for March are being rescheduled and, in some cases, races will occur at different venues due to earthquake and tsunami devastation and dangers from radioactivity caused by the nuclear power plant destruction.

In some cases, it will not be possible to reschedule at this time and those races and events are being canceled.
