"We have been proud to be part of the 100-Day Challenge and this is our last opportunity (before the deadline) to introduce people in our communities to horses, horseback riding, horsemanship and horse care. Whether brushing a miniature horse, learning how to saddle, taking a wagon ride or riding a horse, men, women and children are learning all about horses," said Sydney Knott, president/CEO, Horses4Heroes.
"This summer, we have held open houses at our centers to celebrate Flag Day, Fourth of July weekend, National Day of the Cowboy, back-to-school and we have given free horseback rides at Cheyenne Frontier Days and the Pinto World Championship Show. It's been a great summer!"
On Saturday, September 6, Horses4Heroes centers in Las Vegas, Victory Riding Academy in Omaha, and Little Boro Farm in Swansboro, NC, will be holding open houses and the Rockin' L&D Ranch in Escondido, CA will be open on Sunday, Sept. 7.
