Billed as "Bringing the Bling Back to Texas," this event, which runs from March 12-16, is in its third year and features one of the largest purses in Barrel Racing. This is HRTV's second consecutive year of exclusive online coverage.

The prestigious Diamonds & Dirt event which takes place at the Bryan County Expo Complex Barn, offers a total purse of $700,000 in cash and prizes to attract the champions of Barrel Racing.

Viewers can watch award-winners, including: Cody Bauserman, Troy Crumrine, LaTricia Duke, Bo Hill, Angie Meadors, Jolene Stewart Montgomery, Kassie Mowry, Pete Oen and two-time NFR World Champion Brittany Pozzi.

HRTV.com's updates and highlights of the events will begin on March 13 in a recap format. Throughout the Diamonds & Dirt Barrel Horse Classic, HRTV.com will offer daily highlights of the newly-instituted $225,000 Slot Race, the best rider/horse Futurity combination, the "5D" Open competition, the Futurity Finals, the 5 best Finals' rides, and clips of the "sweepstakes" event, to equestrian fans.

A full hour-long highlights program of the Diamonds and Dirt Barrel Futurity Finals will premiere on HRTV's TV channel in April. The Futurity, with horses foaled 2009 or later that have not competed in any type of barrel race competition prior to December 1, 2013, is an exciting event that offers competition and unpredictability.

Sanctioned by the Women's Professional Rodeo Association and the Better Barrel Racers, the Diamonds & Dirt Barrel Racing Classic not only has the full attention of horse sport fans worldwide, but also acknowledgment from the most prestigious associations in the sport.

Barrel racing is a rodeo event in which a horse and rider attempt to complete a clover-leaf pattern around pre-set barrels in the fastest time. It combines the horse's athletic ability and the horsemanship skills of a rider in order to safely and successfully maneuver a horse through a clover leaf pattern around three barrels (typically three 55-gallon metal or plastic drums) placed in a triangle in the center of an arena.
