Hurricane Florence is about to hit land in several southern states with all of her fury. We would like to announce our new resource, developed by Stolen Horse International, Inc., also known as NetPosse, a nonprofit organization that has been bringing horses home for 21 years this month.

Our NetPosse National Disaster Lost and Found database website is for horses and pets, who are affected by any natural disaster. And we are doing this for free! We do not have extra funds to give to relief efforts but we do have expertise and tools that we can donate for public use. It is our way of giving back to those who have supported our mission to reunite horse and owners when the worst happens.

We are paying it forward.

This brand new FREE resource is meant to bring disaster rescue organizations and victims together in one place, making it easier to search through the multitude of pages and groups on Facebook. Listing on the webpage is not only free, but it is easy and quick. We will be sending out our NetPosse Alerts to our vast NetPosse network for those who list on the website.

Both individuals who are looking for lost animals and groups that are saving them can post their information in the Hurricane Florence section, with descriptions, contact info and links back to your group or personal page.

Keep in mind that this is a new website manned by volunteers who are standing by to help victims with their listings. The NetPosse National Disaster Lost and Found database website has been working as a beta testing site in the past, working out kinks and training volunteers during real disasters.

We are ready to make a difference in someone life with your help! We do not have an advertisement budget. All of our funds are put to use in our Victim's Services and Educational Outreach programs. We know word of mouth travels fast and far. Once upon a time Stolen Horse International was one person, one stolen horse and a few helpful strangers. Look were we are today.

Share our information to your page and send the info through your mailing list and newsletters. You can find more information on our informational (not listing) Facebook page, NetPosse National Disaster Database for Horse, Dogs and Pets at https://www.facebook.com/netpossenationaldisasterdatabase/.
