For the first time in its 76-year history, the Grade 1, Santa Anita Handicap will feature two past winners on Saturday, March 2, 2013, with Ron the Greek and Game On Dude challenging the field and each other.

The 6/5 favorite for the $750,000 Big Cap on Saturday is Game On Dude partially owned by former Dodgers Manager Joe Torres, and the recent winner of the $250,000 Native Diver Stakes and the $196,000 San Antonio Stakes. Jockey will be Mike Smith who sees Game On Dude becoming better as he gets older.

Ron the Greek, trained by Bill Mott is a Florida-based horse and is expected to come charging off the pace as the winner of the January 19, Sunshine Millions Classic.

The owners, trainers, and jockeys of both horses are looking to bring their "A" game to the Santa Anita race course, and, in a field that includes Gary Stevens aboard Called to Serve, and Joe Talamo on Guilt Trip, all are eager to try the longer distance while pleasing spectators.
