The Pennsylvania 4-H horse Program promotes knowledge of horsemanship and responsible, ethical equine use, care, and management.

4-H programs bring youth together for a broad range of activities including educational meetings, horse camps, trail rides, field trips and clinics, and community services.

Youth who participate in 4-H horse programs develop life skills that include leadership, responsibility, sportsmanship, teamwork, community service, a positive attitude, and a sense of self worth.

4-H programs bring youth together for a broad range of activities on community, county, state and national levels. On a county level, activities include educational meetings, horse camps, trail rides, field trips and clinics, community services, horse shows, therapeutic riding programs, and leadership training.
