The NTRA Safety & Integrity Alliance has announced the agendas for the Second Annual NTRA Professional Education Seminar — Presented by Pfizer Animal Health and Keeneland – on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 18 and 19, at Keeneland Race Course.
The Seminar — free and open to the public – will feature expert speakers who will discuss a variety of health and safety topics targeted specifically to trainers, aftercare organizations, racing officials and veterinarians. Free CE credits are available.
The Seminar features a full-day session on October 18, with Keynote Speaker Donna Barton Brothers, former jockey, TV commentator and the author of "Inside Track: Insider's Guide to Horse Racing" addressing attendees during lunch. The day concludes with a tour and barbecue at Old Friends retirement facility in Georgetown, Ky. On October 19, presentations will conclude at 12:15 p.m. so that participants may attend the day's live racing program at Keeneland.
