To make a nomination, write an essay of 200 words or less explaining how the professional horseperson in your life has gone above and beyond to help keep your horse healthy and happy. Simply submit your essay at EquusMagazine.com/ProHorseman. Essays will be judged on uniqueness and interest.

The 2013 EQUUS Professional Horseman will receive a plaque and a Wrangler jacket.
