During 2013, Ride Alert has been (and continues to be) actively involved with the ACTHA in their campaign to benefit the Unwanted Horse Coalition (UHC) and the Nation's equine care facilities.  ACTHA plans to donate funds raised from each ACTHA/UHC ride hosted to the UHC and local Rescues over this year-long effort.

By joining Ride-Alert, riders can be identified quickly and emergency services will learn of any medical conditions or allergies that might affect treatment, plus your family will be informed as soon as you're found during an emergency.

Ride Alert has built such great business (and personal) relationships with the ACTHA during this time that they are both proud and delighted to announce their full-time involvement with the organization as an official Sponsor Partner.

Ride Alert is honored to be joining the (growing) ranks of Sponsor Partners that the ACTHA already has, and through which their Members get to enjoy a wonderful range of equine related products at great discounts.  ACTHA Members now have the opportunity to better enjoy the protection and peace of mind afforded by Ride Alert to all equestrians, their families, their horses, and even their pets!

"No one wants to be involved in a horse riding accident but unfortunately paramedics are called to riding accidents all too frequently each week. By joining Ride-Alert you are allowing yourself to be identified quickly and for the emergency services to learn of any medical conditions or allergies that may affect your treatment. It also means your family can be informed as soon as you're found rather than being left worried at home."

According to Anita Hasbury-Snogles, Co-Founder, Ride-Alert, USA,"What better sponsor could we ask for than one who's motto is "Ride smart, ride safe, Ride Alert"? We all know we are in a dangerous sport, mostly because of us, not the horse. What a great product to save precious minutes if the unthinkable happens to you. ACTHA thanks Ride Alert for their extreme generosity and vision"

About ACTHA

ACTHA rides are casual, judged trail rides that are untimed and 6-8 miles long. There are open, junior, and pleasure divisions and horses and riders can win ribbons and prizes. The rides are designed so that any skill of horse/rider combination can compete. Non competing horses and riders are also welcome at ACTHA rides.

Our mission...

  • To create an enjoyable venue showcasing the wonderful attributes of the great American trail horse and granting them the recognition they so richly deserve.
  • To create a registry open to all breeds and a point designation system which will stay with each horse for its lifetime, thereby adding to their value and distinction.
  • To create and enable humane treatment options for horses in need.
