The DVD of the movie Secretariat was made available this past week.  Although many of the historical details are changed in the movie version of the story of  1973 Triple Crown winner, Secretariat, the story is interesting and effectively done.

When a scrappy house wife takes charge of her ailing father's horse farm, she determines that one of the horse has the makings of a champion and sets out to beat the odds.

The DVD and Blu-ray add interviews with some of the real people involved in the story, along with commentary and scenes that were deleted from the movie.
