World Horse Welfare is looking to rehome a mare and foal together. Shetland pony Gina G and her four-month-old foal Ginelli are at the Belwade Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire and are ready to be rehomed.

Nine-year-old Gina G and her foal, Ginelli, who was born at Belwade Farm will require restricted diets to prevent them from getting laminitis. Both ponies will be rehomed as companions since their poor conformation doesn't allow them to be ridden

Belwade Farm Centre Manager Eileen Gillen said: “They are both really lovely ponies who will bring a lot of pleasure to the people who rehome them. They have such different characters but are so easy to do and I’m sure will catch the eye of many people as they’re so adorable.

“Gina G is shy but has a sweet temperament and would thrive in a quiet home. Ginelli is not shy at all and loves as much attention as she can get! She is extremely curious and would need regular handling to ensure that she retains her confidence and has good manners as she gets older.

If you would like to offer the two ponies a home please submit an application for them by visiting the WHW rehoming pages at http://www.worldhorsewelfare.org/rehoming
