Owning a horse is a big responsibility. Young people who have a horse often don’t know how to train or play with their horse in order to make the experience the best it can be for them as well as their horse. That’s why the Parelli Education Institute is hosting its first ever “Youth Adventure Camp” March 21 through 23, 2014 at the Hill Top Ranch in Yalaha, Florida.

Young people often don’t know how to train or play with their horse so that’s why the Parelli Education Institute is hosting its first ever “Youth Adventure Camp” March 21 through 23, 2014.

“This is a great opportunity for teens that already have a horse, but may need more strategies for the best ways to play with their horse,” said Ashley Edmond Hayes, the Institute’s Youth Program coordinator. “During this three day camp, our 4* Parelli Senior Instructor Jesse Peters will help the participants progress through training techniques, get creative with obstacles and patterns and learn fun, interactive ways to engage horses from the ground as well as when they’re riding. ”

The Youth Adventure Camp takes place at the beautiful Hill Top Ranch in Yalaha, Florida. The 245 acre ranch borders lakes and beaches and features a large covered arena, outdoor arenas, obstacle courses and a playground complete with platforms, jumps, bridge, tunnel, chute, water pond, tires and pedestals. “It’s the perfect setting to learn and have fun,” added Edmond Hayes.

The camp is open to youth ages 13 to 17. For additional details about the Camp, including prerequisites.
