As of July 17, 2015, two new counties in Colorado have confirmed cases of Vescicular Stomatitis Virus in horses. All affected premises are quarantined for 14 days. Currently Montrose, Delta, Montezuma, La Plata, Las Animas and Larimer counties have positive VSV cases that are under the 14 day quarantine.
