Saddlefit4Life Inc., a global network of equine professionals all working together for the common good of the horse has recently been formally established after 5 years of existence as an organization dedicated to the protection of horse and rider against long term biomechanical damage.

The philosophy of Saddlefit4Life is being taught both at the FN and at the German National Riding School, as well as the College of Equine Osteopathic Medicine in Germany. The USDF affords university credits to attendees of S4L clinics and professional training days.

Certified Master Saddler and Equine Ergonomist Jochen Schleese, Dr. Joanna Robson, DVM (author of “Recognizing the Horse in Pain and what to do about it”), Dr. James Warson, MD (author of “The Rider’s Pain Free Back”) and Dr. Gerd Heuschmann DVM (author of “Tug of War”) are just some of the key equine professionals associated with Saddlefit4Life, recognizing that saddle fit plays a key role in addressing some of the issues facing riders today. Other professionals include Riders, REMTs, Equine Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, Farriers, and Nutritionists – but the association is there for anyone interested in the philosophy.

Various educational presentations are being offered through Saddlefit4Life at various venues across the country for equine professionals and concerned riders of varying levels of interest/need. Saddlefit4Life is a partner in HIPPOH foundation (Horse Industry Professionals Protecting Our Horses) and plays a key role in the generic and ongoing education of riders at all levels.
