“UltrOZ is proud to be attending the games with our sponsored riders. It is a tremendous opportunity to take part in the games, and work with some of the world’s premiere athletes and also gain international exposure.” states Bryant Guffey, CEO of Zetroz, LLC. “We have seen tremendous results working with some of the top equine trainers and veterinarians since we launched the product in 2011. Our UltrOZ device takes therapeutic ultrasound to a much higher and safer clinical level.”

The Olympic Equestrian events are being held in Greenwich Park, London’s oldest Royal Park, dating back to 1433, and part of the Greenwich World Heritage site and home to the Prime Meridian Line. The arena is set against a backdrop of sweeping views looking out across the River Thames to St Paul’s Cathedral and beyond.

McClain Ward (Brewster, NY) is entered into two competitions: Equestrian Individual Jumping and Equestrian Team Jumping. Ward, now a veteran, has settled into a habit of winning.

Although he will be without his two-time Gold medal-winning horse, Sapphire who has hit the retirement pasture, he will be riding Grant Road Partners’ Antares F, a 12 year old Gelding Pferdezuchtverband Baden-Württemberg e.V breed. Among the Team USA horses, Antares, is one of only two grey horses, and is nearly white.

Charlie Jayne (Elgin, IL) is also hoping to add an Olympic Title. The sixth-generation, 26-year-old horseman joins the U.S. Olympic show jumping team in London with his horse, Chill R Z as the first alternate.

Jayne was named a second alternate four years ago but is making his first Olympic appearance because only the first alternate travels with the team. Even if he doesn't get called to compete this summer, there's time. Show jumping athletes often compete into their later years, and Jayne already has his sights set on the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro.

According to Dr. Holly Schmitt, DVM, an expert in therapeutic modalities, “Whether UltrOZ is used prior to competition to loosen muscles and prevent injury, or after competition to relieve pain and fatigue, it has proven to be a valuable treatment in helping equine athletes maintain or regain Olympic form in record time, without the use of drugs or surgery.

The equine competitions started on August 4th and runs through August 8th. Information about the Equestrian Jumping competition at the Olympic Games can be found at the Olympic website
